🚨 Applications are NOW OPEN for the Blue Carbon Hub's IORA 2026 IORA Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) Program!

Are you an emerging researcher or practitioner passionate about protecting and restoring our coastal ecosystems?

We're seeking passionate early career researchers, practitioners and professionals from Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Member States to join the 2026 Blue Carbon Hub ECOP Program.

This fully supported, eight-week program at the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre in Perth, Australia, offers an incredible opportunity to work alongside leading experts while developing your own project in blue carbon science, policy or finance. Whether your passion is research, policy development or innovative solutions, you'll contribute to work that helps protect and restore blue carbon ecosystems across the Indian Ocean region.

✅ The program covers major participation costs, including return airfares, accommodation, visa fees and a daily living allowance, helping ensure talented professionals from across the region can take part.

📍 Program dates: 5 October – 27 November 2026
