(IORA) Early Career Ocean Professionals
The Blue Carbon Hub’s (IORA) Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) Program provides emerging ocean professionals with an opportunity to build their skills, expand their networks and gain practical experience in blue carbon research and management.
The program brings together early-career professionals from Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Member States to undertake projects with the Blue Carbon Hub at the Indian Ocean Marine Research Centre in Perth, Australia. Participants contribute their knowledge and perspectives to support IORA Member States in identifying practical strategies for the sustainable use, protection and restoration of blue carbon ecosystems.
