Brand Guidelines

Logo & Style Guidelines:

 

The Blue Carbon Hub brand represents collaboration, innovation and stewardship of coastal and marine ecosystems. These guidelines ensure all visual communications remain professional, consistent and aligned with our mission.

 

The visual identity communicates:
 

  • Environmental stewardship

  • Scientific credibility

  • Coastal and marine connection

  • Collaboration and capacity building

  • Calm, trustworthy leadership
     

The logo combines mangrove ecosystems, marine biodiversity and blue carbon landscapes into a single cohesive symbol representing the interconnected relationship between land, sea and climate.

Logo Usage:

 

Primary Logo

 

The primary logo should be used on all official communications, digital platforms and printed materials wherever possible.

 

Recommended uses:

  • Website headers

  • Reports and publications

  • Presentations

  • Social media graphics

  • Event signage

 

Secondary (Stacked) Logo

A simplified or stacked variation may be used when space is limited.

Recommended uses:

  • Profile icons

  • Merchandise

  • Mobile layouts

  • Watermarks

 

Clear Space:

Maintain clear space around the logo equal to the height of the “B” in Blue Carbon Hub. No text, graphics or page edges should enter this space.

 

Minimum Size:

To maintain legibility:

  • Digital: minimum 120px wide

  • Print: minimum 35mm wide

Incorrect Logo Usage:

 

Do not:

  • Stretch or distort the logo

  • Rotate the logo

  • Change logo colours outside approved palette

  • Add shadows, outlines or effects

  • Place logo on low-contrast backgrounds

  • Rearrange logo elements

Brand Consistency:

Consistent use of the Blue Carbon Hub identity strengthens recognition, credibility and impact across all communications.

All partners, collaborators and stakeholders should follow these guidelines when using Blue Carbon Hub brand assets.
